Paola Ybern founded YBERN, as a made-to-order luxury brand for emotional designs. A vision conceived from the idea of designing functionally refined aesthetics to exist between contemporary times and building a space for recollection, self-recovery and reflection. A philosophy that balances ‘less is more’, keeping versatility and longevity in every design.

YBERN’s first collection has been a natural evolution mainly influenced by the world of pottery in the designer’s life, alluding to the infinite possibilities to start all over again, to be reborn and feel reconnected with hands, mind and heart. Seamless finishes and organic shapes that flow, wrap and expand into minimal premium bags, recreate the different stages of clay as inspirational material and expose the essence of every accurate shape developed in seven different timeless styles. 

YBERN handbags are handmade thanks to one family-run atelier in Barcelona, Spain. This local production supports artisan techniques with a long tradition. The proximity of the workshop allows us to work hand to hand with leather masters, creating an honest dialogue between design and craftsmanship. Offering an incomparable experience in the world of leather with the highest quality, best finishes and maximizing the use of resources.

We seek to be sustainable by not contributing to overproductions in any of our creative and selling stages: building YBERN as a MADE-TO-ORDER brand and working only with high-quality, sustainable-sourced materials from Spain and Italy which supplies us by the orders we get.
